304 & 316L Welded Stainless Steel Pipe
For general purchasing, 304 stainless steel welded pipe is one of the most frequently requested options, covering a broad range of fabricated and industrial piping requirements.
304L welded stainless steel pipe is available for applications where the low-carbon version is specified.
For more demanding corrosion conditions, 316 and 316L stainless steel welded pipe are commonly selected. Duplex grades such as 2205 and 2507 can be supplied when higher strength and corrosion resistance are required.
Higher-temperature grades including 321, 310S, and 347 are also available against the required specification.
Stainless Steel Welded Pipe Dimensions
The pipe can be specified using either nominal pipe size or actual dimensions.
Dimension options include:
- NPS pipe sizes
- Outside diameter × wall thickness
- Standard pipe schedules
- Thin-wall welded pipe
- Heavy-wall welded pipe
- Random lengths
- Fixed lengths
- Custom cut lengths where applicable
For a quotation, an OD × WT requirement can be provided directly if the project does not use nominal pipe sizing.
Large Diameter Stainless Steel Welded Pipe
Welded production is particularly useful for larger-diameter stainless steel pipe requirements where standard seamless dimensions may not match the required specification.
Large diameter welded stainless steel pipe can be supplied for:
- Industrial piping
- Water and fluid systems
- Chemical processing
- Process equipment
- Storage and fabrication projects
- Structural and architectural applications
For large-diameter requirements, provide the required OD, wall thickness, length, grade, and quantity for quotation.
Stainless Steel Welded Pipe Surface & Finish
Surface requirements can be matched to the intended fabrication or final appearance.
Common options include:
- Mill finish
- Annealed and pickled
- 2B
- No.1
- Polished finish
- Brushed finish
For visible architectural or fabricated components, the required surface finish should be stated together with the pipe grade and dimensions.
Stainless Steel Welded Pipe for Stock & Export
Supply can be arranged for both regular stock replenishment and project-specific procurement.
- Standard and large-diameter sizes
- Mixed grades and dimensions
- Random or fixed lengths
- Bundled pipe
- Protective end caps
- Steel strapping
- Export-grade outer protection
- Container loading
- Shipping and commercial documentation
Multiple pipe specifications can be consolidated into one export order according to the purchase list.
Where Stainless Steel Welded Pipe Is Used
Common purchasing requirements include:
- Process and industrial piping
- Chemical and petrochemical equipment
- Food and beverage processing
- Water and fluid handling systems
- Heat exchanger and equipment fabrication
- Architectural and decorative metalwork
- Marine-related equipment
- General stainless steel fabrication
The required grade and product standard should be matched to the project specification before ordering.
