ASTM A519/A519M covers seamless mechanical tubing, including round tubes up to 323.8 mm OD; this scope limit does not mean every size is regularly available.
Seamless and Welded Supply
- 1045 Seamless Steel Tube: Suitable for mechanical components requiring a seamless tubular structure. Hot-finished and cold-finished options can be discussed according to size and order requirements.
- 1045 Welded Steel Tube: An alternative for applications where welded tubular products meet the required design and performance specifications. The applicable product standard and acceptance requirements should be confirmed separately.
ASTM A519 applies to seamless mechanical tubing only. It should not be used as the product standard for welded tubes.
1045 Steel Tube Processing and Customization
